JPW Pack Cat

The boat that started the paddle cat revolution. Lighter weight, increased maneuverability, self-bailing, and easier transportation are the just some of the reasons why this could be the boat for you. At only 30 lbs. with the frame, and compact packaging make it ideal for travel on airlines. We have many customers who take these boats with them on vacation to Mexico, Australia, or just about anywhere. Easily pack them into or out of remote locations. If you have a sense for adventure, the pack cat will take you places no other boat can go. Fat Pack Cats and Pack Cats have the same type of frame structure and rigging set up. Because these tubes are inflated to a very ridged status, a large frame structure is not needed. The Cataraft style makes this boat punch through holes easily, and still carry loads of gear for a week long self-support trip. Note the back rest pillow is rigged forward on the seat so you can let air out to get the most comfort. On expeditions most customers use a Paco Pad for back support.
