JPW El Tigre

The El Tigre features a large 28 inch tube diameter, 12 1/2 ft. water line, 42 oz. double bottom material on top of 32 oz. air holding hull fabric, 12 -2 1/2 inch stainless steel D ring Patches per tube that are welded to the boat, 2 heavy duty handles, and rounded cone (blunt) ends.

The El Tigre also is available with 30 inch diameter tubes and a 15 ft. waterline, and variations in between.  We have made these with 25 ft. waterlines for those who want to haul incredible amounts of gear or for other industrial purposes.  Please see this web site for more information about those customized tubes.

There are two air chambers per tube. The air chambers have baffles that are cone shaped so that they will extend to approximately 2/3 of the original length if one chamber loses air rapidly.  We have installed more baffles on longer tubes on request.

The material is high tensile strength Welded PVC Coated Polyester. This is the best UV, mildew, and air retentive fabric in the industry. We use this fabric because we want our boats to last for decades. 10-Year warranty comes with every boat, but there is an extremely good chance you will not need to use it.
